My 5yr old daughter throws tantrums and hits herself in frustration. very basic things she wont understand. she wont respect elders. she wont brush her teeth, wont eat her food, wont do any of her work. she expects me to do everything for her. she does not want to learn anything at all.

Remember for children rudeness and inappropriateness are not innate. They are either imitated or learnt behaviors.
