Hello With your history, I can say a fungal infection is possibly occurred... firstly avoid steroidal creams like betnovate and combination creams which has steroid in them available OTC... moreover steroid creams damage the skin and prolong the treatment... fungal infection are simple ... if treatment given properly and following do’s and don’ts advised by dermatologist the problem is solved ... but any deviation from the above said things will lead to repeated infection
Next Steps
Online Consultation with pictures will help in better understanding and correct treatment
Health Tips

BETNOVATE GM CONTAINS A STEROID - STRICTLY DO NOT USE ON GENITALS FOR FUNGAL INFECTION.  DO NOT USE ANY OINTMENT THAT HAS - Clobetasol,  Betamethasone, Mometasone on the genital areas unless specifically needed or prescribed by a QUALIFIED DERMATOLOGIST whom you trust.  Warm regards,  Dr Govind S Mittal.
