Black discoloration of tounge
I have black color elongated area on right side of tounge since last 5 years . At that time i had been through doctor and he said nothing to worry about it . . But now i am feeling it's spreading .so i want to know what would be the reason and diagnosis of this condition and could scar be removed?

Black discoloration of the tongue can occur from a number of causes from simple burn on tongue to pigmentation, active disease etc. You need to rule out any other oral and skin lesions as well.
