Bleeding during mensuration period
I am 55 years old. My monthly period started nine days back and still continues with heavy bleeding. Bleeding was less during first four days. Due to this frequent change of sanitary pads and heavy bleeding causing uneasiness and sleeplessness. Is this a serious issue?

This can be due menopause Hormones balance or due to fibroids. Suggested to go for USG scan for abdo and pelvis after the bleeding stops.
