My gums have been bleeding for the past 3-4 weeks whenever I brush my teeth but also otherwise sometimes. Are there any remedies I can try at home? I am afraid to visit a dentist's office due to covid. Is it necessary to do sox though? Thank you

Bleeding from gums is due to inflammation caused by calculus accumulation or tartar deposition. You should get scaling of your teeth done. At home, you can start doing warm saline rinses for immediate relief. Add salt in lukewarm water and rinse. Hold the water for 15-30 seconds in your mouth before spitting it out. Do it thrice daily for a week.

Dear practo user
Apply Stolin gum paint and hexigel over the affected gums thrice daily and wash after half an hour with Betadine gargle mixed in warm saline water. Rinse for at least a minute. Take vitamin C and D once daily. Do this for a week and return for a review
Bleeding gums will not subside by medication . U need to get ur scaling done and for that u need to visit nearby dentist . We all are following preventive measures .
Meanwhile u can use
1. mouthwash twice a day
2.Hexigel gel local appication on the gums . Get an oralprophylaxis done .
