Blood clot due to slip
I fell down frm steps...15days over..blood clot just below waist...its 10cmc shown in scan...doctor said v have to operate it...any other way

• Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment in which knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Try percutaneous or USG guided needle aspiration. Lastly I&D can be tried. Operation required if there is a moralle-lavalle lesion is present which is confirmed on MRI.
