hello der as u have already told nose picking is the primary cause for epistaxis in children...what u can do is
pinch the nose for some time so that the bleeding stops...or wipe the nose with ice cold water
this will stop bleeding if not you need to consult ent specialist for further evaluation and treatment
train ur son to avoid nose picking.
