Bleeding gums is a sign of poor oral hygiene.Due to plaque and calculus deposits , gums get inflamed causing redness and lead to gingivitis or even get worse destroying the periodontal ligament and supporting structures of the tooth.other factors like brushing in wrong manner too vigorously, any injury can also cause gums to bleed. One must brush teeth in correct circular motion ,two times one in morning and one before going to bed. Rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide, but Donot swallow the solution.Increase your vit C with food like oranges ,red peppers , carrots.Increase intake of vit K foods like spinach , mustard greens.Rinsing your mouth with salt water can also help.
