Blood in vomit
11 weeks old baby's vomit (watery in curd form+blood) contains blood, mother is having small bite scratch on breast nipple. This bite scars are often comes and goes for mom right from birth.
And baby looks normal.
Please suggest.

Looks like mothers bleeding nipples caused the baby to vomit as ingested blood is known to cause severe gastritis.

Please apply Nipcare cream on mother’s nipples for cracked nipples

It is not advisable to feed baby from side which is bleeding . Nurse baby on breast which has healed . The bruised breast should be expressed for collected milk and discard that milk if it has blood
