Blood pressure
I am a diabetic type 2 since30 yrs and BP since almost same time and had coronary angioplasty in 2004.
Am at present taking oral medication plus insulin R for diabetes and Met XL .25 for bp and heart with statin and aspirin
My BP remains 140/72
Can I add ace inhibitors 2.5 mg cardace to balance my BP

U should be on cardace or some other same class of drug as u r diabetic and these drugs are known to reduced diabetic nephropathy as well as cardiac remodeling.
But before starting the drug we need to have baseline kidney function test as it also affect kidneys.
Please visit to your cardiologist or diabetologist for further advice.
