I you just mentioned diabetes starting stage but you didn't mention about your fasting blood sugar levels and postprandial blood sugars . If you where guven medication by any doctor please start immediately and don't neglect. It's your wife who will carry the baby so for that you Should get checked your wife for bp diabetes etc. You having Bp and Diabetes will not affect your baby . Don't worry.
