Blood pressure
My blood pressure is 130/89.please suggest if this is normal i. e. not life threatening. Can I maintain this level in future .I had already quit smoking 4 months back .Some times I feel a mild headache on my right side,which usually goes after a short sleep Thanks.

hello there. it's little on the higher side. but you don't need a tablet as of now. here is what you can do. 1. restricted salt intake. 2. avoid oily and spicy foods. 3. walk for 20 mins twice a day. 4. practice yoga and pranayama to cope up with stress. do all these and you will definitely feel better. and you will achieve better blood pressure control. regards
