My mom has high sugar level more than 300 nd hb 10.2...what shld be the treatment. She gas been having diabetes fir more that 10 years now but first time tge blooddugar us increase so much. Please geld.how should onecheck for ketoacifidus. Is exercise contradicted for ger? Csn she drink a lot of water or will there be any sideeffect?

If she is comfortable and not symptomatic you need worry about DKA. If symptomatic get urine for ketone bodies done. Drinking plenty of fluids helps in washing away ketone bodies.
Her sugar needs to be controlled immediately. For making any changes in treatment details of her current medication are needed.
