Are you working on PC or laptop for long hours
If yes you have to take a gap of few min after every hour. And close your eyes for 1 or 2 min.
Have a healthy food rich with vitamin A like carrot, papaya ,spinach ,drum sticks, tomato all green leafy vegetables. Use UV protected sunglasses when outdoors.
Do exercise of your eyes like moving from one side to other up and down.
Don't rub your eyes and always wash your hands before touching your eyes.
Avoid watching mobiles or any bright screen in darkness.
Everything has to be in moderation. Don't overstrain your eyes, keep your eyes clean.
Relax your eyes.
Have foods rich in Vitamin A and C for the eyes and everything else too.
Few tips for everyone:
(1) Limited use of screens say laptops, computers and mobiles is not possible now a days but we can act smartly while using them. Follow 20-20 rule - After every 20 minutes take a break and focus for 20 seconds at a far away object at least 20 meters away. Frequently blink your eyes, if not possible to remind yourself then slowly close your eye 10 times after every 30 minutes of your work. Adequate sleep and adequate water intake is very important.
(2) For those who apply eye make-up it's very important to clean and remove it thoroughly before going to bed. Better to use Micellar cleansing water rather than any oil to remove the make-up.
(3) Always use UV protective goggles whenever you step outdoors.
(4) Always use helmet while riding two wheelers.
(5) Never ever rub the eyes or frequently touch the eyes. If you feel the need or urge to rub the eye better to wash your hands and splash drinking water over closed eyes and pat it dry.
(6) Six monthly eye check up.
(7) Healthy nutritious diet
(8) Regular exercise
