Boil near anal area
Doctor, I have noticed a small bump or boil just very near to her anal opening. Haven't noticed puss yet and she doesn't cry while touching on it. I use diaper only at night and rest of the time she is on cloth diaper. At present I'm making her to sit in warm salter water. Should I consult with doctor or should proceed like this. Looks like perianal skin tag, which is just abnormal growth of the skin at that part. Which can be seen from birth or can be seen in children with chronic constipation. This condition does not require and treatment. Rarely it can be a fistula opening or tag because of anal fissure. Better visit a paediatric surgeon or paediatrician. He will detailed history and examination can guide you better.
