Braces removal, teeth feel very loose?
I just got my braces off yesterday. I have to go to get my retainers in a week and 3 days. I noticed the next morning I woke up my teeth feel very loose and my wire very loose as well. It’s glued properly on but everything feels free and loose. Is it normal? Should I be worried about my teeth moving and I’d it normal to wait for over a week for retainers?

Sometimes after cleaning it feels that way. Especially if there was a lot of tartar deposit. Can't comment before knowing the condition for you.

Its normal to experience slight mobility in teeth (loose teeth) immediately after braces removal. But gradually this mobility should decrease. Since a fixed retainer is already placed (wire glued behind the teeth), chances of relapse are minimal. If there is pain, bleeding or increasing mobility in your teeth then you should consult your doctor immediately . Otherwise just try to maintain good oral hygiene, gradually everything will feel normal. All the best.
