I had a seb cyst on the lower part of the breast which was removed last week. I noticed a dimple on upper part of areola of same breast. It was checked physically by my doctor n told nothing to worry. What is the cause for dimpling?

Dimpling may be due to various reason..loss of underlying fat and tissue may also give apparent dimpling. Since you have already been examined, so don't worry.
