Breast lumps
I was having pain before periods in left breast (pain started this month only not before) hence i went for the sonography of breasts and I have 4 lumps in left breast and 3 lumps in right beast. Out of total 7 lumps 2 lumps are of 28*11*10 mm and 25*25*19  mm sizes. I consulted to doctor after that and she said "we have to do operation of lumps".  Please suggest me is surgery only option for removal of lumps or lumps can be reduced/dissolved by other options also, rather than surgery/operation. I don't want to do surgery of both the breast at this age. Please suggest.

Hello, First and foremost, Please don't get panicked. Not every lump is cancerous. I think when your doctor said, "operation of lumps" , She probably told you that you'll need something called as 'biopsy' Which in simple terms, is basically taking the piece of the lump out and examining it under Microscope. That gives an idea what kind of lump is it - Cancerous or non cancerous. Based on that the subsequent line of management is decided. Hopefully this helps and gives you a bit more clarity. Tc
Next Steps
Continue your follow up with the surgeon. If at all you are sceptical to go for surgery straightaway, you may take second opinion of another surgeon. But I earnestly request you not to ignore them, in the hope that they'll somehow vanish.
Health Tips
Avoid searching on internet what it can be.. You'll absolutely scared looking at the weird and serious names of diseases. Consult doctor instead and clarify you doubts.
