Breast milk is sufficient or not
Hi, my baby is 45 days old.. I don't know my breast milk is sufficient for him or not since he is always used to cry without any reason. And my breast don't leak at all. But his weight is not reduced.he is not at all sleeping for continues 2 hours. Please suggest me whether I can give formula milk or how to increase breast milk supply

Dear parents,
In this world to prove breast milk is adequate or not, only criteria is wt gain of baby.
To have adequate breast a positive attitude of self is necessary.
As the baby sucks the nipples a stimuli goes to brain (pituitary gland) from there prolactin &oxytocin harmone are produce. Prolactin increases milk and oxytocin releases milk.
So let the baby sucks when ever baby is hungry.
Drink lots of liquids.
No top milk, exclusive breast feeding till 6th month.
