If baby is satisfied with breast milk and solid food then you should not start baby on formula milk at all.. any animal milk should be started after one year of age only.

Continue with breast feed only along with solid food.. plan is to shift from mother's milk to home made food. No formula or cow milk required. No alternative to mother's milk.

It’s better to continue breast milk with the complementary feeds. You can continue breast milk till 2 years of age. It is better to avoid cow’s milk till 1 year of age.
