Breastfeeding after 1.5 year
Hello doctor...My baby is 1.5 years old and she is still breast feeding. I want to know how long the baby gets nutrition from mother's milk?

You can continue to breastfeed but baby cannot be exclusively on breast feeds at this age. Hope you have started top feeds

Give but try to reduce gradually as giving solid diet is important at this age

Dear parents, After 6month,milk should be Stop from 8am to8pm and semisolid Diet should be given, like Dal daliya khichdi rice ALU kela upama halwa rab kadi patoliya idli poha satu etc From 8pmto8am milk çan be given. Mother's milk upto at least 2year,or as mother can give. Top cows milk can be given after 1year of age. Upper limits of milk per day is 400ml

Continue breast feeding till 2 yr of age . Along with tat u shld start cow milk . For baby growth and development. Solid diet also u shld give give more of fruits puree and vegetables
