Breastmilk supply
I had pcod diabetes and thyroid before conceiving and took thyroxin and metsmall during my pregnancy and after delivery on june 30 my milk came in after 3 days. I took perinorm and my breasts were engorged then my baby started latching and I maintained a good supply for 2 months. But after her first vaccination at 6 weeks she starting feeding for less time due to gas and this continued till  the next dose at 10 weeks. Now from the past 2 3 days I am facing very low milk supply and my breasts doesn't leak and baby tummy is not full she needs to feed every hour in the afternoon till night. I can feel my breast are softer. I am taking lactare capsules and lactare granules.Has my diabetes pcod and thyroid has returned. What can be done as I want to exclusively breastfeed my second baby as with my first I couldn't do so.

After 6 weeks of delivery, TSH, FBS, PPBS, HbA1C are checked. Please do these tests. PCOD causes irregular cycles only. Please check with your paediatrician if baby is having any issues. If baby is gaining weight then milk must be sufficient. If baby has gas, ear pain, nose block, baby might not feed well. Milk secretion depends on prolactin hormone, number of times being fed, mothers mother's nutrition
