Breathing & Gastric Problem 5 month baby
My child is 5month old now. From initial days he got gastric trouble. Even now sometimes he cries while passing gas.Now a days he is suffering from breathing problems (PHLEGM)that to only in the early mornings. Once the Nasoclear used he looks fine. When I googled about the symptoms, I came across the term GERD. Are these above symptoms related to gred? Also he spit-up often in small amounts & large amounts very rarely. Can you please help on this?

Yes, it could be GERD. But if your child is not having any severe problem like lots of vomiting, weight loss or recurrent respiratory infection..Then nothing to worry. Usually with age it gradually resolves itself. Try to keep him upright for sometime after feeds
Next Steps
if problem not resolved, consult to near by pediatrician.
