Broncoscopy Or Pet Scan
My 67 yr old mother had Broncoscopy done in which Brush Cystology and TBLB samples were taken... We will get report in 10 days.. But the doctor also asked us to do PET Scan.. They are suspecting ? Scar Carcinoma My question is can't we wait for this result before getting a Pet Scan? If the result of this sample is normal then still do we need to get a Pet Scan done? Please help 🙏 Reply Symptoms: only mild dry cough since one year after recovering from covid pneumonia, nothing else I'm attaching the CT scan report here
