Went for a routine ultrasound and results are as follows: "Both ovaries appeared bulky and showed multiple tiny peripheral cyst with ecogeneic central straoma. The right ovary is 2.9* 1.8 cms and left -2.7*1.6 cm." I am really worried and confused as googling showed that the ovary size is normal while Doc said its bulky. Pls explain this?

the usg findings r suggestive of pcod ...if you are on the heavier side , have excess hair growth , irregular periods ...these point towards the same diagnosis ...you can get your fsh , oh, tsh, prolactin done on day 2 of your periods and consult a gynaecologist for further management.
