Burn on wrist
I burnt my wrist area with hot steam from a kettle.within few secs my skin peeled and disappeared in front of my eyes.i put my hand under cold water and on someone's advice I put wheat flour on it.i was travelling n gonna reach mumbai late night.went on dabbing the flour throughout the day hoping no blisters n scars.at end of evening the burn which was raised got hard n flat but starting cracking and pus started oozing out.Next morning I showed to physician and she said the flour had got it infected n she removed the pus n the covering on top to reveal the peeled off skin which she said is not severe.i was given tetanus injection,augmentin 600, 5 days course and some pain relief medicine from clinic.also asked to clean the burn only with cotton n no water shud touch the burn and apply silver ex everyday after cleaning.
I don't know how to clean the burn without using water and reapply silver ex and wats the current situation,whether it's healing or getting worse.can someone guide

Hello good morning. I can understand your situation. But be cool and relax first. Whatever the you received is right and you should take it. You are facing problem with cleaning the wound right. Ok take some water and boil it properly and let it comes to normal room temperature. Take the cotton and put in hot water separately ,take it out and squeeze it. Now put some dettol into water which you taken first. Now dip the cotton into water containing dettol and very slowly u wash the burner area and apply the ointment.
