Burning sensation in throat
I am not a daily smoker or drinker..but on last Saturday i had binge drinking and smoking...my throat is hurting a lot for two days but there is no dry or wet cough or fever..i also am having bloating issues..is my throat ache due to smoking or alcohol...why so?

Hello, what you have is sore throat due to gastric acid reflux. The alcohol and smoking stimulates excessive acid secretion. Most of the time it should resolve by itself in few days if there is no further stimulation by alcohol or smoking or spicy oily food. Rarely there can be infecion setting in the throat. Is so the you will need antibiotics.
