Burst fractures in spine
I suffered 2 burst fractures in my lower spine several months ago. I have had 5 spine surgeries since then. The most recent surgery was a month ago. Tonight, I tripped and fell and now I am in so much pain that I can hardly breathe, let alone move. My lower back is throbbing and has a stabbing pain.

The two most serious causes of sudden increase of pain after 1 month of last surgery are infection and displacement of implants/ fracture. Since you have a history of fall displacement of implants seems more probable. You must do the following things 1. Get an x-ray done. 2. Get blood investigation to rule out infection (CRP level) 3. Visit your doctor urgently
