My cousin has Vitamin D level less(25 ng/ml) but Calcium normal(9.8)...Kindly answer following: (1)Which is better Supplement--Calcitriol(Vit D) or Cholecalciferol(Vit D3)? (2) If Caclitriol is better then how much Daily intake in mcg? (3) If Cholecalciferol is better how much Daily intake in IU? (4) Does Calcitriol Absorption require Magnesium? (5) Does Cholecalciferol Absorption require Magnesium? (6) Do I need Calcium supplement along with Calcitriol or Cholecalsiferol(remember that Calcium level normal)? (7) Upper intake of Calcitriol per day? (8) Uper intake of Cholecalciferol per day? (9) How much Calcitriol is produced from 1000 IU of Cholecalciferol?

Hello there..... Vitamin D is found in many foods, including fish, eggs, fortified milk, and cod liver oil. The sun also adds to the body's daily production of vitamin D, and as little as 10 minutes of exposure is thought to prevent deficiency..... Exposure to sunlight is the richest source of vitamin D... Consult your Physician regarding supplements...
