Can a copper IUD be inserted on xarelto
I have had 2 unprovoked DVTs in the past three years. I am waiting to see a specialist, but in the mean time decided to get the copper IUD as this was recommended as my safest option of contraception due to lack of hormones. I am also on 20mg xarelto once a day until I see the specialist. I am uncertain if I am allowed to have the IUD inserted while on xarelto. I have no symptoms from xarelto and do not have heavy periods. I would really like to go ahead with the IUD.
