Can anxiety cause short of breath
I am a 25 year old female and I work under stressful conditions. Plus, I have developed a condition of breathlessness recently. I suspect my work environment has to do something with it. I want to know if anxiety can cause shortness of breath in me. Can someone answer, please?

Yes, anxiety can cause breathlessness. But my opinion is first to consult to a chest physician to rule out any organic cause of disease.
