Can I be reinfected on my period?
I was wondering if I can become reinfected by chlamydia, being on my period? I was recently diagnosed with chlamydia and have been on the single dose azithromycin for a couple days while having my period. I have been using sanitary pads but am concerned that I could be reinfected through the blood on the sanitary pad's contact with my genitals.

Possibilities are there only if Ur previous Infection was not completely gone , as it can again grow especially in vulnerable conditions like periods .
