Can I get my eyes operated?
Right eye- cyl : -4.00 ; axis : 180° Left eye - sph : -5.25 ; cyl : -2.50 ; axis : 180° Hi! Above mentioned is my current eye prescription, I wanted to know which method of corrective surgery suits my eyes and why, and up-to what degree can they be corrected. I have astigmatism and my age is 22. I also wanted to understand the process time involved and an average estimate of what it might cost. Thank you.

Hello With this high cylinder, I would first recommend you to consult local Ophthalmologist and get pentacam test done to rule out any corneal problem If that is normal then lasik is an option which will give full correction in left eye... There may be some residual refractive error in right eye Cost of lasik depends on type of lasik. It ranges from 25k for microkeratome lasik to 70k for blade free lasik For more information you can read my health tip on lasik available on practo healthfeed Regards
