I'm on dapagliflozin and Metformin since 2months alongside taking Trigabantin 100 and Rosuday10. Since a week, I've developed mild/discomfort near rectum, some medical journals point the cause towards Dapagliflozin; since I'm not an expert I'm unable to a decision. Can I stop taking the medication until my next endocrinologist visit in 15days? Are there any withdrawal effects?

Good afternoon ,
See if you have any discomfort while passing urine such as any burning or painful sensation while passing urine . Best way to know that is too get a urine routine analysis . If that is alright I don’t think there would be a need to stop the tablet . Stoppijg the tablet might again make your sugars haywire
Hi., I can understand your concern.
Make sure you're taking adequate protein and fibres in your diet.
Drink adequate water.
Do regular walking and exercise.
There is very little chance for dapagliflozin to cause such symptoms. It can also be due to combination of medicines.
If the discomfort continues, see a general surgeon in person for local examination.
