Can it damage hair cells of ear
On this diwali, i was standing outside my home with my 3 months old son, suddenly some children exploded a bomb of high sound  around 16 feet(5 metre) away from us and my son started crying listening that sound. I have read on internet that infant exposure to loud sound damage hair cells of ear, causing hearing problem, as infant experience louder sound pressure than adults. Very much worried about hair cell damage of ear of my son. Kindly answer what to do

Hair cells status can be detected by otoacaustic emission test.. visit an ENT specialist for proper assessment and get an OAE test if required..
