Can leprosy be spread this way?
If a person with leprosy touched an object and it might have contained their cough/saliva, can touching that same object cause an infection? Does it require only a one time touch and through this enter the respiratory tract somehow and thereby causing an infection? Please help.

Mycobacteria leprae do spread through air but they cannot survive long in outer atmosphere or fomites.
