Can protein in urine cause uti?
Hi I am 36 yr old female, I developed urinary tract infection last week and I am currently taking antibiotics for the same. With uti I had fever and shivering and lots of weakness. At the time of urine report there was protein also Present in the urine along with great amount of pus cells. Can you please guide if uti can be the cause of this protein in urine.

It's other way around .UTi causes proteinuria and not proteinuria causes UTI.Show me ur reports then I will advise
