Not at all ...just because the pain and symptoms may disappear after the first sitting ,leaving the tooth with an incomplete RCT is asking for reinfection and maybe more complications in the near future.

Dear Sir, You cannot stop rct after one visit as complete eradication if bacterias is not possible in just one sitting. You need dressings n good cleaning n shaping of the roots before root canal filling so that the treatment prognosis is better. If you have any doubt or if you are not comfortable n confident about your dentist you can visit endodontist who is a root canal specialist or an experienced dentist n put your concern so that he or she takes good care of you n do your treatment without any discomfort. Regards Dr Shilpa khera Lilly white dental clinic.
