Canker sore on tongue and sharp ear pain
Few days back I had irritation in mouth but ignored it. Next day my throat was sore and was hard to open mouth fully or eat food. Pain was on the left side around the molars so I thought that it might be tonsils and took antibiotics and did salt gargles for few days. After 3 days I found a canker sore on side of tongue at end and it was causing pain along with sharp pain in ear sometimes. I tried to put salt on it but the pain is much worse than a normal canker sore accompanied with sharp ear pain. It gave me relief for few hours but when I did it second time, the pain in ear didn't go away for 2 hours and had to take diclovin plus. Lymph node below the chin on also feel tender and hurta a little when pressed.

Your symptoms indicates ulcer formation due to chronic irritation from sharp object. Check any sharp pointed tooth along the side both upper and lower side of affected side of jaw Secondly go for a xray to rule out any chances of impacted tooth in bone
Next Steps
need to visit a dentist for the cause of chronic irritation and for x rays.

Seems like an infection related to a lower tooth most likely wisdom tooth. Consult a dentist to get an X-ray done and your dentist will advise you accordingly

Hi....Ulcer could be due to sharp tooth and pain can be due to wisdom tooth. Avoid self medication and visit your nearest dentist for permanent relief.
