I have small caries at inner last teeth it is compulsory to be drilled and filled with amalgam.i have no pain

Hello
It is better to go for filling. Because if pain starts it cannot be filled only root canal and capping would be the option.
Go for tooth colour ed filling.amalgam outdated now.

Yes it’s important to stop the progress of caries either by filling or arresting in case it’s very small. Otherwise it can lead to more severe infection in future like root canal.
