Carotenemia - in 1 year old
My son is 1 year old. He suffering from Carotenemia. I stopped giving him yellow color fruits and vegetables. I want to know can I give him other vitamin - A rich vegetables and fruits? How many days require to cure from Carotenemia?

It's very rare to develop carotenemia at this age. If he is really suffering from this then first of all rule out the medical conditions that leads to this. If no underlying disease is there then just reducing intake of carotene rich food is sufficient. There is no need to give another vit A source if no obvious difficiency.
