You complain reflects of non vital tooth now. Which might get pain later in future. So go for rct then crown.
Filling will introduce to pain if done on large cavity.

Hi sir....
As you have big cavity it seems it should be treated with Root canal treatment....
As the condition went chronic, so you cant experience pain....
X_ray of the affected tooth should be done...
