Treatment of fractured teeth varies according to the extent of fracture and size of the remaining tooth piece.
If it's a small piece of tooth that's broken then a dental filling will take care of it.
If it's just the crown that has broken into halves, root canal treatment followed by a crown over it can mostly do the work.
If the damage is more severe and the fracture line has exceeded to roots, then extraction is the only option.
This is being said, you need to visit a dentist. They ll decide after seeing it clinically.
Take a rvg of your teeth to see level of breakage.clinical evaluation would be sufficient in most of the times. If you feel pain mildly take a electric pulp test done. Restoration of teeth would be sufficient mostly.
