Cerclage and soft cervix
Hi, I have my cerclage placed on today at week 13 because of my previous preterm labor history at 7th month. The doctor said the cervix is too soft than normal and I require complete bed rest from now on. She is expecting its great if I make it to 8th month as the soft cervix maynot hold the stitch properly.  This is my second pregnancy and in my first I had worst experience of losing baby after a month in NICU. I'm on progesterone shots too. Is soft cervix really that a thing to worry about? Will the stitch hold till term on bed rest? I'm OK with bed rest but many doubts and anxiety is making me negative

Worrying is not going to help Without examining you it is impossible to comment if  the stitch is going to hold till term or not Your only option is rest and progesterone support
