Nowadays, the age at onset of type 2 diabetes is almost common in early 20 to 30 yrs of age. We Indians are genetically more prone for type 2 diabetes. The risk is always there if someone has family history. But if you manage your lifestyle in a healthy way, including your weight ; you can surely delay / prevent type 2 diabetes in future. Take care.
