The swelling in your posterior cheek is due to operculum formation , which is formation of a soft tissue pocket over the partially or unerupted teeth , which leads to clogged food and a site for bacteria to proliferate ! The dentist might have prescribed you antibiotics and analgesics! You can continue with that !
Next Steps
In addition u can use betadine mouth wash with 2-3 drops of hydrogen peroxide and clean that area !
Health Tips
U can have ornidazole and ofloxacin antibiotic and go for tooth extraction after the acute phase is over !
