Chest pain and phlegmy cough
I went to Germany on the 4th of November till the 7th. When i came back i noticed i had a bad cold and as the days went on it became very chesty. I just thought it might be bronchitis, so i sat it out. But a few days ago, my itchy throat went and the phlegm started being very thick and green in the mornings. However in the night, the pain in my chest is mostly when i lay down and breathe in.

You seem to be suffering from viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat infection in this season. You may need to take antibiotics, expectorant cough syrups and steam inhalation for faster recovery
