I hung out with a friend on Monday evening. She has chickenpox now. She got the scabs/scars on Tuesday afternoon. What are the chances of infection? If I'm infected, is there any way to prevent it going to the next stage?

Hello...... If you are infected there is no way.. Chicken pox spread from one to another through aerosol.. Initially one wil have fever and develops rashes on trunk.. It's infective in initial days.. You have to take antipyretic till fever subsides.... If you had chicken pox in childhood you don't have to worry.
