I have a 7 ye old boy who cries even for a silly reason . I don't know if he is doing it wantedly or going through stress. He has been going to a main stream school and it's difficult for him to put up with the rest of them . He is slow in taking cues in reading , writing , playing too

Hi, Every child's abilities are different and parents compare their child with other children and come to conclusion that whether the child is slow or fast learner. Ask yourself if your comparing or does child has any special need.
About crying, children cry sometimes for attention, sometimes when they are not able to verbalize their feelings, when they feel not understood. I understand it needs lot of effort and patience to observe and understand a child's needs. It is good that your doing it.

It is very difficult to nourish a child.They are like flowers, u can give force to them.They need love,soft company,attention, prpper parenting.
He has his own unique way to realise any thing,he may be not like anyone.
Try to explain him every thing very simply.
Consult psychologist or child psychologist and learn how to give ur child proper help.

People vary on temperament level. So it could be one of the reason for being sensitive.
Apart from that there could some stress that is making him sensitive.
Being slow can be due to various reasons.
You need to consult a Clinical Psychologist in order to get a psychological evaluation done. This will help to identify the root cause.

It could be he is a slow learner or some other developmental problem
