Is he a single child???!!!  Are there anyone in ur family with whom.he is compared or expected off???!!! It's not the subject which is difficult  for him ,  maybe the teachers are not comfortable for him. Dislike could also happen because there is no connect with the teacher. And also during this span of life of ur child, it is normal to be an introvert. If u feel he can open to a neural. Person.  You may consult a  Psychologist

Hello....... Some children face this problem ,sorrounding environment, teaches, parents, all plays important role in child's psychology.... Each one does his best. You shouldn't pressurize him.. He wil open up one day if you be nice to him... Children are growing sensitive these days, he may need counseling. Sensitive mind can understand the child's problem.
